Looking around for a film that was topical, we’ve decided to show Fear Eats the Soul (1974) by Rainer Werner Fassbinder. We thought it would be topical because it’s about a Moroccan immigrant’s experience in Germany and we felt it might be interesting to compare perceptions of immigration then with the current ‘crisis’ now.
